Ardara, nominated by The Irish Times as one of the 'best villages to live in' in 2012, is one of the most attractive towns in Donegal. Ardara is set in a wide valley where the Owentocher River enters Loughros More Bay. There's much to see and do including visiting craft and gift shops, together with the traditional Irish pubs. There are many brown trout lakes in the area, or why not discover the nearby caves and falls of Maghera?
The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
