Falcarragh in Donegal is a bustling town on Ballyness Bay. The town has an authentic Irish feel, being located in the largest Gealtacht area in County Donegal. From here it is easy to enjoy mountains, coastline, towns and villages, as well as sports such as golfing, fishing and cycling.
The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.

"Mountain View is an excellent rental for a family holiday in Donegal. Mary (property contact) is very friendly and helpful. Remotely situated in Ballyboe only a 10 minute drive from Falcarragh or Dunfanaghy. There is no wifi and limited TV which is fantastic for an escape from technology ! The family and dog enjoyed the accommodation and stay. The second time we have stayed there: the first time was a week in October and the second two weeks in June. Local Beaches are excellent. The Shamrock pub (run by Margaret) and coffee shop (Coffee Go Leor run by Milly) in Falcarragh are very friendly and welcoming. All highly recommended."

"Superb location - very quiet and relaxing. Surrounded by fantastic scenery of both the mountains and the countryside, running down to coastline. Property is only a short drive from attractions in the Dunfanaghy/ Falcarragh area. Very friendly, helpful contact from the owner and her family."
