Summerfield Lodge is a lovely ground floor apartment situated in the town of Youghal just sixteen miles from Middleton in County Cork. The apartment can sleep two people in one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Also in the apartment is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is ample off road parking and a lawn with furniture where you can enjoy the views of the sea. Summerfield Lodge is a great base from which to explore this lovely part of the country.
Situated on the estuary where the River Blackwater meets the sea is the seaside resort of Youghal in County Cork. Just across the water from this popular coastal destination is County Waterford, making this a wonderful spot to explore both counties. The historic 12th century town walls still remain and Youghal was once a busy port town and today you can enjoy a stroll along the prom and gaze at the boats docked in the harbour.

"This little property is not far from Youghal. It is also near the sea. There is a lovely view from the property. There is a pub nearby which is very busy at weekends. I stayed for a week and used it as a base for visiting places such as Cork. I am used to self catering holidays so had plenty of groceries with me. This is essential as you would not be near many shops. The accommodation itself is a kitchen/diner/sitting room, a bedroom and ensuite shower room. The double bed is comfortable and there is a wardrobe for your stuff. There is wifi and all the kit you may need for cooking. The owner lives in the house nearby. She is very friendly and helpful. I might stay there again if I am in the area. Ideal for a peaceful getaway."

"A well placed cottage with a good walk into Youghal if needed or drive. Plenty of places to visit and if you require a change with no pressure catch the bus into Cork city for 10 Euro return or the other way to Waterford. Good walks around the beach road. Some really excellent eating places in Youghal if a tad pricey and lots of variety. A comfortable stay with all basic needs covered. Great views from the cottage."
