One king-size double bedroom. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with door to patio. Sitting room with dining area and sofa bed. Electric storage heaters. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, selection of books, DVDs, videos,WiFi, children's toys and games. Winter electricity surcharge charged at ?30 per week. Summer electricity surcharge - June to October charged at ?15 per week, payable direct to owner. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Patio area with picnic table. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles in Corofin. Note: Local Burren walking tours and evening babysitting available from the owner by prior arrangement.

Location

The Ghilies Cottage is a semi detached cottage on the edge of the village of Corofin in County Clare. The cottage has one double bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge, making it suitable for four people. The rest of the accommodation includes a family shower room, a fitted kitchen and a sitting room. Outside the cottage is plenty of off road parking and a patio area with a picnic table. On the edge of the Burren National Park and set in a courtyard with two other properties, The Ghilies cottage is part of a group that sleep up to eighteen people.

The village of Corofin offers a good range of shops, pubs and eateries. Famous for its music, with festivals occurring throughout the year, it also provides access to the visitor centre at Dysert O' Dea castle. The surrounding area is great for hill walking and cycling, whilst the seaside resort of Lahinch is worth a visit.

County Clare has so much on offer; boat trips, quirky pubs, seaside resorts and a great tradition for Irish music, all set amidst spectacular scenery such as the towering Cliffs of Moher and the fascinating landscape of The Burren.

"We stayed in this cottage and the bigger one in the complex as well. It was a family reunion and we had ample space for three big families without treading on each others toes. It was the perfect location and accommodation. With every convenience on hand. Martin the owner was so full of knowledge about his beautiful part of the world and he couldn't do enough for us. Gorgeous surroundings and an ideal spot to further explore this region of Ireland from. Perfect for children lots of space to run around and the loyal dog lucky loves to make new friends. "

"Beautiful, quiet, scenic surroundings, close to a village for supplies and entertainment. Very central to all of County Clare's sights and attractions. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
