Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

"This property looks lovely from the photos, but could do with some TLC and another comfortable chair would be helpful. The lighting was poor, so making it difficult to read at night. Plenty of space, but the kitchenette was very small. My husband had two cold showers because the boiler was on the blink. it's in a good location with parking, which is a bonus, but it lacked a lot of the care and attention to detail that other cottages we stayed in had in spades."

"The property owners were both friendly, courteous and most welcoming. The hot tub was an added bonus. We just wish we had booked to stay for longer as there was so much to see and do and four nights was not enough to explore what the Cotswold has to offer."

"The Owners were excellent hosts. Very Friendly and helpful telling us about all the attractions in the surrounding area. Everything was first class and the hot tub was marvellous. There was also a games room which had a full size snooker table and a table tennis table and a very comprehensive selection of DVDs, Hope to visit again. "

"Loved how relaxed the place was and the owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for us.Everything was well explained and ready to be used.Owners provided a very helpful handbook for the property and surrounding areas including electric equipment instructions, bus timetables, OS maps, plus good recommendations for days out. "We had a lovely time staying at the Lilacs. The cottage is lovely with great decor and fit-out. It all seemed really new and very clean. The owner was a lovely host. We were kindly greeted with a cake and a friendly smile. The hot tub was a really nice luxury too when the weather outside wasn't amazing. We had all the information we needed, great local recommendations and they were flexible around departure time. The games room was really good fun. I couldn't recommend the cottage enough."

"Everything was great from start to finish and we hope to go back again in the future. The hot tub was fantastic and there were plenty of places to go to however long you were there for.
