All ground-floor. Two bedrooms; 1 x king-size, 1 x double ( this room is more suited to 1 adult or teenagers rather than two adults) Wet room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Off road parking for 2 cars. Oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, TV with DVD player, selection of games and books and WiFi. Picnic basket and deck chairs available on request. Secure bike storage. Wall-mounted electric heaters with heated towel rail in shower room. No smoking. 2 well behaved dogs welcome. All on ground-floor including wet room/shower room so suitable for those with limited mobility. DVDs, Picnic Basket and Deck Chairs available upon request. Off road parking for two cars. Check-in time: 3pm, Check-out time 10am.

Outside, you will find off-road parking and an enclosed garden with sitting area. The Guinea Cottage is a wonderful base for exploring with your loved ones.

The small North Wiltshire village of Upper Seagry is found in superb countryside only five miles north of the bustling market town of Chippenham, and six miles from the ancient town of Malmesbury. Close to the southern end of The Cotswolds, this rural location provides a great base from which to explore this fascinating area. There are ample footpaths and bridleways nearby, a visit to Malmesbury - with its 12th century Benedictine Abbey - is a must, whilst a trip to the Cotswold Water Park is a real treat. Westobirt Arboretum, with its extensive collection of trees and shrubs is not to be missed. Within an easy drive can be found the picturesque village of Castle Combe, also well known for its car racing track, and the quaint National Trust village of Lacock, used as the setting for the BBC TV serial Cranford. The impressive Roman city of Bath, Bowood House, and the ancient stone circle at Avebury are also easily accessible. This really is an excellent base for a relaxing and interesting break at any time of the year.
