Reviews of Old Cart Shed
"This was our second stay and we really enjoyed our time here even though the weather was rather damp. It is a very well equipped place and has everything that you need for a great stay. There is a lot to see and do in the area. This time we went to CaenHill locks and watched as several canal boats went through the flight of locks. We also went to the very interesting Atwell-Wilson motor museum that is nearby be to Avebury Manor and stones. We can certainly recommend this a. Great place to stay."

"This is a charming place to stay and is very well thought out. It is very well equipped so you can really enjoy your stay. The owners are very Friendly an are there if you need them and if not you are left in peace. Just opposite to the left is a petrol station and a Costcutters shop that also has a chemist and Post office there too. Just a few steps away is the most amazing Indian restaurant called Spice of Asia. Their have an incredible menu with so any options. The food was perfectly cooked and spiced to perfection. They also do take away meals too. This cottage is perfectly placed to explore Wiltshire. When we were there we visited The railway Museum at Swindon. If you go keep your entrance ticket it will enable you to have free parking at the outlet centre. We went to Lacock Abbey and village, which is where Harry potter was filmed, Then we went to Caen Hill locks where there is a long flight of locks. The other place well worth visiting is Avebury to see the stone circles and visit the village. Nearby is the West Kennet Long Barrow , Sudberry Hill and other amazing sights in the area. We would certainly recommend Staying here. There is a lot to do in the area and we will be"

"The owners were very efficient with communication, making the booking process nice and simple. The Old Cart Shed was just perfect for our few nights away as a newly married couple, it was cosy, quiet and relaxing. It was also very clean and well organised with clear instructions and handy tips for activities whilst we were in the area. It really felt like we were miles from anywhere due to being so peaceful. It's location however, was also convenient for day trips to the Cotswolds and Bath amongst other places on our to do list. I had to do some work on my laptop whilst staying and the wi-fi is very fast. It was great to have the car right outside on the private drive, we just made sure not to park in front of the owners garage which is behind The Old Cart Shed. We were never disturbed by the owners and as I said it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. We plan to stay again soon as we live in Wales and it's location makes it the perfect stop over when travelling to London on the M4. Thanks to The Old Cart Shed!"
