Within a few moments are the many amenities of the village, including a golf course, while the National Park can be found close by for wonderful walking and cycling opportunities. The historic village of Addingham nestles in the the River Wharfe valley between Ilkley and Skipton, 3 miles from the Dales National Park at Bolton Abbey. In the Doomsday Book, Addingham is referred to as 'Ediham', which probably meant 'Home of Edi', the Earl of Bolton Abbey. Today's village thrives with several pubs serving fine ale and excellent food, a scattering of small shops and a delightful golf course surrounded by breathtaking countryside.
