"A lovely lodge that is appointed to a very high standard and is situated a stone's throw from the on-site lake with a beautiful view towards Bath. The lodge has a few steps up to a veranda then it's all on one level. A really lovely location, very tranquil, just the sound of birdsong and wind in the trees. Lots of wildlife around - rabbits, birds, ducks and a pair of geese had just had 5 signets when we arrived so we were lucky enough to watch how fast they grow over the week that we were there. The owners keep alpacas so it's lovely to see them too. The lake is stocked with coarse fish which is a bonus if that's your hobby. A great central location to visit Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Wells Cathedral, etc. We'd recommend a trip to Kilver Court Gardens just down the road, it's a hidden gem. The owners were very friendly and we would highly recommend staying here, we certainly intend to go back."

Great for families with enclosed garden in one of the lodges. Superbly furnished and very comfortable. The owner provided a really useful information booklet and the nearby pubs were great for dining out."
