Bathroom with bath and shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Dining room. Sitting room (seats 8). Oil central heating system. Oil-fired Aga with four ovens and electric hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher. fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD. Off-road parking for 5 cars. Lawned garden with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 5 mins walk. Note: Aga is only in operation from December - February.
The village of Chirbury is home to a village hall, a large public house called The Herbert Arms, and a post office, which is also the village shop. Montgomery is a short drive away and is popular with tourists. The town has a selection of individual shops and a variety of pubs and restaurants, including the Michelin star restaurant. A few miles to the south is the historic market town of Bishop's Castle for its pubs, live music and festivals throughout the year.
