Reviews of Mallard Cottage
"Arrived at mallard Cottage on Friday the 7th of feb. for a 2night stay, This is not a cottage it is a house in a short terrace.I must say it is everything that a family would want.Really warm and comfortable very nicely decorated .This cottage is very well situated to the village that has 2 pubs both serving meals a community shop that is very well stocked and an Indian resteraunt that is right on the entrance to the railway station this being just a 5 minute walk from accomadation. As a base for visiting the area its probably one of the best , to York in 15 mins. its the main line to all points west.As a place to stay for us as a family of 3 adults and 2 children this was perfect, We would gladly return if ever we needed to be in that area again Would really recomend."
