Reviews of Beckside Cottage
"Just returned from a most relaxing week at this cottage. The cottage has everything you need and is spotless, to get a cottage for 2 people that has both a hot tub and a logburner is hard to find so to get this one is fantastic. Dean and Julie are so friendly and answer any questions we had but also left us to our own devices. The local pub Black Lane ends tavern is worth a visit as the food is delicious."

"This was our 3rd time back to Beckside Cottage. Came for my 50th birthday, just me n wife, doing nothing but cooking, relaxing and chilling out in the Hot Tub! Picturesque scenery, cows just over the fence, ducks and pheasants flying by. This week has been glorious weather wise, sitting out back watching cows go by, no other sounds as in middle of nowhere. Cottage is fully equipped, every thought gone into making it home from home. Must go to the local, Black Lane Ends pub, worth the hike up the road. Hosts Julie & Dean have always been welcoming, always on hand if needed. Looking forward to coming back for our 4th visit. Thank you for this beautiful piece of heaven X"

"From the moment we walked in we could tell this was something very special. Julie the owner was a delight , so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the bubbly . The cottage has a beautiful lay out giving you plenty of room. It has an log burner in the lounge that when lit gave that much heat , we had to open a window. The kitchen is very well equipped, Julie and Dean have thought of everything for your comfort and ease. The bedroom with en suite facilities were brilliant too. The hot tub outside was pure bliss, after a long walk , it was lovely to go back and sink into it. The whole cottage was immaculate, a true credit to the owners!! We will return. Highly recommended by us. Thank you so much for a truly relaxing week away Xx "

"Our second stay at this lovely, very comfortable & quiet cottage set approximately one mile from the main road & Cowling. On the first night it snowed, it continued to for the next three days. Severe snow drifts prevented us getting out in our car, we were restricted to short walks along the lane BUT the owners (Julie & Dean) contacted us daily to ensure we were coping. We remained in the cottage - lovely & warm. They even delivered us hot homemade pasties, free extra wood for the log burner & contacted a neighbour to collect some shopping for us. After the local farmers & Dean had cleared a way through the snowdrifts they even took us in their 4x4 to a local pub so we could get out. The next day Dean & a local farmer then gritted the lane & with Dean leading the way we were able to drive our car to the local pub car park where we parked it ready to depart in the morning. The last morning Dean took us in his 4x4 back up to the car park. What service!!! Thank you to all who made this stay a very comfortable, relaxing, fun experience. We will return."

"We booked this absolutely amazing cottage for a week. The owners have thought of everything, it's beautifuly decorated with top quality finishes. It's so quiet and peaceful, the hot tub is a very welcome added bonus. It's a fantastic part of the country everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Dean and Julie are the most fantastic hosts who really respect guests privacy. Julie really went the extra mile as we got stuck in the snow. She and a local jogger dug and pushed our car all the way to the main road. We have been holidaying in cottages for years this is most definitely the best we have stayed at. We loved everything about this cottage and can't wait to return."

"I booked this cottage as it looked absolutely beautiful and a real home away from home. It was a surprise trip for my Husbands 30th Birthday and wow did it exceed all my expectations! It's in a tiny village called Cowling between Skipton and Keighley and it's perfect for getting away from all the hustle and bustle of city life! The owners were lovely and really paid attention to detail in every way. The hot tub and bath in your room really add the wow factor. We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to return. 10/10"

Had really lovely owners who went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, but not at all intrusive upon our privacy. A beautiful location, loads to do if you're outdoor types and if not, you could happily enjoy a week of tranquillity in the cottage reading, watching the chickens and lambs. Fabulous, we would definitely re visit."

"Beckside cottage is perfect for cosy retreat for two. The cottage itself is beautiful, and has recently been refurbished to a high quality, with a wood burning fire, free standing bath tub in the bedroom and a rainfall shower that you will actually want to get out of bed for. There is also a hot tub set directly outside the cottage which is not over-looked and really made the weekend for us. The property is set in the owner's grounds, surrounded by beautiful countryside and some incredible views. The owners are incredibly welcoming and gave us a tour of the property on arrival, even lighting the fire for us. They had already set up the hot tub which was ready for use at any point in the three days we spent at Beckside. We really appreciated the little extras included such as a huge torch to take out walking with us, robes and wood for the fire. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Beckside Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet break, but with good access to some of the most beautiful areas of Yorkshire."
