"Just got back from fabulous long weekend, it was a very large property with fabulous views. Very well equipped. It was beautifully furnished - fell in love with bedroom furniture and the beds were so comfortable. Our host was friendly but not intrusive at all. There are two friendly goats in the next field who kept us amused. We lit the kitchen fire at night - not because it was cold - but because it added even more atmosphere to a very lovely place to stay."

"Wonderful position, fields all round, and inside beautifully appointed. The owners, Mr & Mrs Bartram are meticulous. The accommodation is to the highest standards. A superb place to stay if you like walking, as you can walk from the door straight on to the Cleveland Way. There are two houses for self catering at Bousdale Farm. Although this one is perfect, the other is even better! We have stayed in both and hope to stay again many times!"

"The accommodation is the best we have ever stayed in. Being on the edge of the North York Moors and being able to walk straight onto the Cleveland Way from the front door, no need to drive. Surrounded by farmers fields, oil seed rape in full bloom, and the fields surrounded by forest. Lots of foot paths, excellent for mountain bikes."

"Fabulous cottage, so spacious and well laid out. The en-suite in the master bedroom is amazing. We loved having the log stove on, purely for decoration, as the central heating works well. "
