Reviews of Ploughshare

"We stayed at the Ploughshare for a New Years getaway. Great little lodge, within driving distance of a lot of great country pubs and attractions. The lodge had everything we needed and much more, all the little extra details... even tea bags, milk and sugar after an extremely long drive! The luxury bath and cleverly positioned TV really helped with the chill out we needed. Who doesn't enjoy a glass of bubbly in the bath... 2 points for the owners and probably because they haven't stayed in the lodge havent realised, there are no plugs by the mirrors meaning you have to move the mirror to dry your hair, only a very small one but thought I would mention it as it's a quick fix and the pillows on the bed are very very soft, I'm only 35 and not prone to a bad neck or back but left feeling a little stiff from the pillows. Which is a huge shame as the bed is just beautifully comfy!!! Overall a great few days and would highly recommend."
