Reviews of Duddle Cottage

"Sister booked Duddle cottage for a friends & family catch up. On arrival the cottage looked perfect in every way & the views simply stunning and it was very quite. However there are a few minor issues cracks in tiles in the bathrooms, sofas need replacing foam coming out of covers, cooker needs a deep clean, the outside furniture of poor quality & the flags could have been jet washed to get rid of the bird poo (there was a lot of it), think there is a slight issue with the plumbing in the upstairs bathrooms, dining room table unstable & chairs a bit rickety. For the price you pay it should be almost perfect. In noting the above it did not spoil our stay & if corrected worth the rental price. Currently I think a touch overpriced "

"We stayed here as a family group of 6 for a pre Christmas get together, with ages ranging from 40s to 80s. We found the property to be of a high quality finish with good bedrooms, bathrooms and facilities. The open plan kitchen/ lounge/ dining room was perfect for our get together - the cooks were always part of the party. We loved the position and views from this cottage, looking out over the valley. Parking and on-site staff were good. The only negative we had was that other parties in neighbouring houses were noisy enjoying the outside hot tubs until midnight/ 1am. This disturbed the sleep of our party in the rooms nearest the noisy property."
