Highchair and cot available on request. Ample off road parking. 200 acres of grounds with ponds and river, patio with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Children and pets to be supervised when outside due to ponds and river in garden. Skipper is a welcoming cottage located excellently for exploring the countryside, coastline and fascinating towns that abound in the area.
Lancaster is a city conveniently placed east of Morecambe Bay and west of the Forest of Bowland AONB. The city itself abounds in striking architecture as well as fine eating, drinking and shopping spots. Some of its popular attractions include the maritime museum and castle. A day at the beach can be had at Morecambe, while the charming market town of Kendal is also within touring distance and makes for a lovely visit.
The North West of England has something for every discerning traveller. Whether it is the fabulous sandy beaches of its famous seaside resorts or the historic backdrop of some of the country's oldest cities, it has something for everyone.

"Have never written a review after 3 lovely days at skipper cottage I though I needed too. Wonderful location , clean lovely accommodation and friendly hosts. Romy the owner was friendly and welcoming to us and our dog paddy. On our last day I asked if we could check out a bit later if no one was coming into the cottage to be told leave when ever you are ready or stay another night if you like (no charge ) Thank you for a lovely break and we will definitely return."
