Reviews of Jenny's Cottage
"This is a lovely cottage for 1 or 2 people in a peaceful and beautiful rural location. The cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable, and not far from the village of Diggle. There are some fabulous walks out from the farm, and plenty of good places to eat nearby. The owner was welcoming and friendly, and told us about local events going on during our stay, which was really helpful. We'd definitely go back here."

"The first question I always ask before writing any reviews is would I go back/use this resource again etc. The answer here is definitely yes. It is a lovely little cottage for a short break in a peaceful location where the only thing likely to wake you is the clip clop of horses being put out to graze. The facilities are excellent and even in cold wet weather, the cottage stays warm and cosy. The added (free) extras of eggs, milk, tea and biscuits is a very welcoming bonus. My only qualification would be that a bit more explanation on the access - unload your car at the top door but access the cottage at the bottom door would have avoided some confusion for us. A little sketch map of the farm layout with parking, access and keybox marked would be a useful addition to the otherwise excellent instructions."

"Went up for the whit Friday band contest ...stayed 4 days . Beautiful location on a working farm, a brisk ten minute walk to the pub the another ten into diggle itself. Beautiful barn conversion with all mod cons , loved it so much we've already booked for next year. If you stay you have to get an ice cream at grandpa greenes ."

"This location of Jenny's Cottage was utterly gorgeous, situated in amongst miles and miles of luscious rolling countryside. The accommodation was beautiful: an adorable two-storey cottage with all the mod cons and extremely helpful and friendly owner. There were also cats, dogs, horses and lambs wandering about which I particularly loved."

"There were wonderful views from the upstairs windows. It was good to have two entrances, one into the kitchen/living area, and the other directly to the bedroom/bathroom. It meant that as older people we didn't need to walk down a slope. There was a good fridge and everything you need to cook. If you like to be in the country, then this place will not disappoint you. There were stables on site, too. There is a good wood burning stove, as well as other heating."
