"A wonderful property which provided an excellent base for the Cotswolds, and was excellent value for money."

"We liked the spaciousness of the house, as well as the warmth during what were very cold days and nights. There was also ample hot water and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable in each of the three bedrooms. We also appreciated having WiFi for when we were indoors. This house felt like a home, with a friendly pub over the road and a handy community shop just a short walk away. The village was perfectly situated for our particular purposes, for both access to the motorway, the walks we made and the places we wanted to visit."

"The house was well furnished and there were plenty of glasses, crockery and cutlery. Everything was clean. The garden was wonderful, a really good size and well laid out. Best of all, it looked like a home rather than a holiday cottage. We hope to visit again."

"This spacious and warm house was great for our large party staying there in the winter. It was a home from home with everything we needed in the big kitchen. The local village community shop was two minutes walk down the road and very useful for basic needs and newspapers. We appreciated the helpfulness of the caretaker and owner and considered Gladstone Villa to be very good value for money! A great base for exploring the area."

"The property was just perfect. We had lots of room in the house to relax and enjoy our time there and it was good value for the price. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The garden is huge so was great for the dogs. I will be looking to book this property again."

"We wanted somewhere I could stay with my teenagers and be joined by a friend with her teenager (plus dogs!). The house is a great size, well equipped, warm, comfortable, plenty of hot water, fabulous garden and in a great location. We have walked, been to Bristol and sampled local hospitality, neighbours have made us welcome and the cost of the property was so reasonable for a holiday period, couldn't have asked for more. Couldn't have asked for any more for our new year break."

"Gladstone VIlla was an excellent property, well equipped and very comfortable. Ideal for families as the orchard at the bottom of the garden is a great place for playing. Quiet village location, but easy access to the rest of Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds as it is close to the M5 and other major roads. We visited Weston Super Mare, (which was just over an hour away), and spent a very enjoyable day out, with plenty of entertainment for young and not so young alike. "
