All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x twin, 1 child size pull out bed provided in property if needed. Bathroom with roll-top bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting/Dining area with open fire and telescope to gaze at the unpolluted night sky. Oil central heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV, Broadband WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire/stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. There is also a 'camp bed' so you can bring an extra child. Ample off-road parking. Enclosed garden to the front with lawn and patio furniture. Pet friendly. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Coast 40mins. Note: Guests welcome to bring a horse as there is a stable and field along with parking for horse box and an arena. The market town of Sturminster Newton is set on the banks of the River Stour, reached via a graceful, six-arch, 15th century bridge, carrying a warning of deportation to those who may damage it! The whole area acted as inspiration for the works of Thomas Hardy. The region is dotted with thatched cottages, rural walks, country views, and fascinating towns, such as Sherborne, with its abbey and castle, whilst the Dorset Heritage Coast is also within easy reach.
