Bramble Barn, a detached, former three bay cart shed, now converted to a bright, tasteful holiday home. One mile from the historic town of Shaftesbury, the barn has views over the surrounding woodlands to Duncliffe Hill and Blackmore Vale. The surrounding garden is lawned, with a half cartwheel shaped patio. The stylish living space has lofty exposed roof trusses, oak floors and full height glazed doors where the original openings for the carts would have stood. Gather around the refectory style dining table, or take time to relax in front of the impressive stone fireplace. There are two bedrooms, the master double and a neat twin, as well as a shower room suite. Bramble Barn is well placed to explore nearby Shaftesbury and the Blackmore Vale.
The pretty and historic town of Shaftesbury in Devon offers wonderful views from Gold Hill (the famous Hovis advert was filmed here) and the ruins of Shaftesbury Abbey. Other attractions in the area include Longleat Safari Park, Bath and Stonehenge. This town also sits just outside of the Cranborne Chase AONB, incredible for walking, cycling and fun-filled events.
