One well-behaved dog welcome, Sorry no smoking. Pub less than 1 mile from property. Note: This property does not accept children under 5, except babes in arms due to drop in garden. Note: This property sleeps a maximum of 3 people, including babies.

Blacksmith Barn is a peaceful, single storey Dartmoor cottage near the Devon village of Horrabridge. The cottage sleeps three people in a double bedroom and single bedroom with smart shower room. The open plan living area has a seating area with wood burning stove, compact kitchen and dining area. Outside is a rough lawn with patio and furniture and a footpath across 17 acres of fields leads to the open moor. Less than a mile from the village with its two pubs and shops, Blacksmith Barn is a wonderful base for exploring Dartmoor and visiting Devon and Cornwall.

Horrabridge is a charming riverside village located within beautiful Dartmoor National Park in Devon. The River Walkham, well known for its salmon fishing, flows vigorously under the village bridge, which is said to be the oldest in West Devon

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

"Great little cottage with everything you need for a restful break away. Within walking distance of Horrabridge which has some good pubs and a fish & chip shop (best ever). The moor is also in walking distance or a short drive. Pet friendly. Very comfy beds. Owners very helpful with local info. Would definately recommend for a relaxing break."
