Off-road parking for 2 cars. Free access to 25 acres of surrounding countryside. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 5 miles and pub 1 mile. Note: The decking area is not enclosed. Note: No children under 8, however babes in arms welcome. Note: Check in time is 4pm onwards. This property has a 4 night minimum stay.

The county town of Somerset, Taunton is a beautiful town and a perfect cottage holiday destination. The town has excellent buildings with charming stone and Tudor architecture, there is also fascinating history in the town stretching back over 100 years including a 10th century monastery. It offers wonderful amenities with the Orchard Shopping Centre and plenty of other places to shop and eat. As well as this, Taunton boasts a choice of museums and parks, one of which has held the Taunton Flower Show for over 150 years. For your outdoor enthusiasts, the Quantock and Blackdown Hills Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty are easily accessible, as well as the Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks slightly further afield. If a day by the sea is what you're after, the coast is around 20 miles away, with the popular seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare a further 10 miles away but is well worth the journey with its great range of activities.
