Ideally placed for exploring Devon and Cornwall with the border just a few miles away, you are only a couple miles from Roadford Lake a great outdoor day out for the whole family. A walkers paradise with Dartmoor and Bodmin moor in easy reach and countryside jaunts on the doorstep. Overflowing with character and charm, this country cottage has three bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower (no WC). There is a useful first floor cloak room with ground floor bathroom providing accommodation for up to five guests. A cosy sitting room with woodburning stove, leads into a bespoke country kitchen with central island and Rangemaster stove. A sunny conservatory doubles up as a dining room and leads out into the enclosed cottage garden with summerhouse equipped with pool table at the far end of the garden. Damson Cottage is a perfect retreat for a relaxing stay and perfectly placed for days out exploring the region.
Lifton is an attractive village in West Devon a mile from the Tamar and Cornish border. The village is well provided for with a number of fine restaurants, a great village pub and post office. On the edge of the village there is an award winning farm shop, and on site restaurant. Well placed for visiting and exploring both Devon and Cornwall the village is just off the A30. From here Dartmoor and Bodmin moor can both be easily reached as can the North Cornish Coast.
