Reviews of West Henstill House
"This is a beautiful cottage sat right in the heart of the countryside and ideal for those who like to ramble along the many bridle paths. The cottage was very spacious and very clean with a very large lounge area, a large kitchen diner, four good sized bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. The decor of the cottage is very rural and retains a lot of its original design. The kitchen is equipped with everything that you could ever want other than a tumble drier if you need one. All of the equipment is new and the centre point is a large range cooker. The bedrooms have very comfy beds and plenty of nice bedding, towels etc. Outside the cottage there is a lovely garden and a very nice patio area complete with barbecue and numerous fields for the children to play in. There is a farm house very close to the property but we never saw the people except when they arrived or left in their car and the cottage gardens and patio are completely private from the farm house I.e. on the other side of the property. The only downside to the property is the surrounding access roads which are very narrow and enclosed by high hedges, not for the nervous driver, so you have to be careful. I would also say that this property is not suitable for disabled people as there are a some steps and the garden is on a slope......we were a family with 3 small children and 4 adults and it was great. Final tip do not use the post code on your sat nav to find this property as it will take you down a road which is now permantly blocked and it is difficult to turn around. Follow instructions for final part of journey i.e. From Crediton or Tiverton to cottage."
