Location
Willow Cottage is a lovely family base, set on a small rural site with 4 other holiday cottages (3 with Sykes Cottages) and a caravan site, between the market towns of Barnard Castle and Richmond. There is a double room here and also a twin, as well as a shower room. The accommodation here is all on the ground floor, and includes a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside, there is a front patio with furniture, and off road parking. Close to Lightwater Valley theme park, Ripon, Durham and the countryside of the Moors and Dales, Willow Cottage makes a lovely year-round base.
Caldwell, a small village in North Yorkshire, lies between the popular market towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle. Caldwell is ideally located for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors and coast. Ripon, Durham, Fountains Abbey and Lightwater Valley theme park are all within easy reach.
From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

"We were greeted by very friendly owners. A warm welcome with a small pack of welcome treats - this was a special touch. The heating on, lamps on and the fire glowing. It was very clean, comfortable and a quiet location - also ideal for dogs. We didn't want to leave and will certainly recommend it to others and hopefully re visit them. Also the lady I booked with on the phone was very helpful and friendly. "
