Poldark Cottage is a wonderful semi-detached barn conversion, 1.5 miles from the Cornish village of East Taphouse. Set all on the ground floor level, this cottage sleeps two people and has one king-size double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a sitting room with a dining area and an electric log-effect fire, and a separate kitchen. Outside, there's off road parking for one car, with additional parking available if required, a lawned garden with a patio and garden furniture, along with shared use of the grounds. The village of East Taphouse is located on the A390 in the heart of the beautiful Cornish countryside, perfectly situated for exploring all that Cornwall and Devon have to offer. Located between the historic market towns of Liskeard to the east and the ancient stannary town of Lostwithiel to the west, there is also easy access to the picturesque old fishing ports of Looe, Polperro and Fowey and many spectacular sandy beaches and coves on the south coast, whilst the rugged and dramatic Bodmin Moor is just 10 minutes to the north.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Reviews of Poldark Cottage

"De cottage is perfect gelegen om zowel Cornwall als Devon te verkennen. Het is er heerlijk stil en rustig. 's Ochtends gewerkt worden door het fluiten van vogeltjes, ontbijten op een zonnig terras of een zomeravond op het terras. De cottage heeft alles voor een ontspannen vakantie. Hij is bijzonder proper en heel gezellig! Een echte aanrader!"

"The cottage is lovely, a little tardis with plenty of space for two, and lots of thought put into little touches. The location, next to a working farm, was interesting, seeing the calves in the field and the sheepdog doing its rounds. It was well placed for the south coast and Dartmoor, with the rest of Cornwall in easy reach."
